We Need Your
Support
The attitude of African societies to mental health and intellectual disabilities has proven to have dire consequences for the sufferers. This neglect has led to a decline in health of disabled and mental ill individuals and subjects them to a sociocultural stigmatization and segregation.
African Disability Support Network raises funds for the poor vulnerable children, young people and adults in Africa. Our work in the UK is to organise seminars, workshops and campaign activities to bring awareness on daily challenges faced by people living with disabilities and their families, in Africa.
We are actively working to improve this situation by creating and disseminating the much needed awareness on these issues, organizing skill trainings and workshops for caregivers of children with intellectual disabilities and making assistive tools readily available for people living with disabilities.
Our vision can only become a reality when we work together. With your donation, together we can make the difference in the lives of people leaving with disabilities.
